Steps to browsing Setting for MTN, GLO,ETISALAT,AIRTEL in Nigeria

This is for naijainformtion users, for those of us  using a phone that are not configured for browsing automatically mostly china phones that cannot be automatically configured, Here are the  WAP / GPRS Settings for these devices for all network operators in Nigeria (MTN, Glo, Airtel and Etisalat) together in one place. Just follow the instructions here to configure.

In general for most phones:-

 Go to SETTINGS
 Then CONNECTIONS/WIRELESS AND NETWORKS / DESTINATIONS/CONNECTION SETTINGS depending on what your phone calls it
 Press OPTIONS then select ADD NEW APN ( ACCESS POINT)

Now fill in the following information in the spaces provided :

FOR Etisalat Settings

Account Name : Etisalat WAP
IP Address : 10.71.170.5
Port : 8080
Username : leave  blank)
Password : leave  blank)
Access Point Name (APN) : etisalat
Home Page : http://mobile.etisalat.com.ng

FOR Airtel Settings

Account Name: Airtel Wap

Homepage:  http://wap.ng.Airtel.com

Port: 8080
Access point: internet.ng.Airtel.com
Username: leave blank
Password: leave blank
Authentication: Normal

FOR MTN Settings

Account Name = MTN INTERNET
IP Address = 10.199.212.2
Port = 9201 (for WAP) or 8080 (for HTML)

FOR Glo Settings
