The Nokia lumia is a great smartphone made by Nokia powered with Microsoft Windows Phone 8 and can also be upgradeable to WP8 Amber. While the Tecno P5 is running on Google Android v4.1 Jellybean. The lumia 520 now goes for 19k which is a 40% price reduction when compared to 5 months ago where it was sold for as much as 34k.
Comparing a smartphone at a Price of 19K equipped with 8GB internal memory, 4.0 inch LCD screen and 512 MB RAM, the Nokia Lumia 520 is offered at a good price.While the Tecno P5, also has similar specs which include 4.0 inch LCD screen,8GB internal memory,512 MB and 1 GHz dual core processor retails for 17k. The smartphone runs on Google Android 4.1 and has half the internal memory allocation.
From different tests carried out, it shows that the Google Android OS has poor multitasking, which means that any device running anything less than 1 GB RAM will be slow when handling high ended apps which include games. But the Windows smartphone is designed with a better RAM optimization than Android which means less than 1 GB ram won't be a problem. But Google has promised that there will be serious improvements with Android KitKat v4.4. There is also a great difference in screen quality as the Nokia Lumia 520 is equipped with LCD screen while the Tecno P5 has a TFT screen. With LCD screen has a better view appearance and emits less heat which saves enough battery life.
