Steps to Root Tecno R5 and Tecno L7 Free

Few weeks ago, Tecno Mobile released two smartphones into the Nigeria market known as Tecno L7 and Tecno R5. So having purchased one of these smartphones, what comes to mind is root, there by giving it full access to your handset. We have created a tutorial on how to root your tecno L7 or R5.

                         

Actually, most previous tecno devices like Tecno P5 runs Android 4.2 Jelly bean which can rooted easily with Frameroot and Root Master, but the latest devices like Tecno R5 and Tecno L7 runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat which is difficult to root.

Here are the steps to root Tecno L7 and Tecno R5 without PC

NB: This tutorial is intended for experienced users only. Please do try the following method at your own risk.

• First of all, install Kingroot apk which can be accessed here 
• Next, is to head over to settings to enable developer options and select USB Debugging
• Turn on the internet connection on your smartphone and start ''Kingroot App'' 
• Click on the blue icon, to start the rooting process.
• After several restart, your smartphone will be successfully rooted.

To verify, if your smartphone is successfully rooted download and install root checker.
