Finally, Nigeria's biggest network provider, Airtel Ng has launched what seems to be the cheapest tariff plan. This is happening after MTN launched MTN Truetalk+ while Etisalat released the Easylife 4.0. Airtel decided today to join the race, by introducing another plan known as Airtel SmartTalk. So we are left with Glo Ng, who knows what Glo might be cooking up for Nigerian subscribers, which might be coming up soonest.

 The Airtel smartTALK is a rewarding prepaid plan that allows Airtel subscribers to:
  • Call all networks in Nigeria @ 11 kobo per second for only a daily access fee of ₦5 charged on your first call of the day.
  • Make international calls at 20k per second to the India, UK, Canada, China, and USA Landlines.
Steps to Migrate to Airtel smartTalk?


  • From your mobile phone Dial *315# to migrate or 
  • Create a text message with "yes" and to 315
